Joseph Henry Geiger, 72, died on Friday, January 25, 2008 at his home in Trenton, Ga.
Mr. Geiger was born in Columbus, Oh., and was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Herman Geiger.
He was a retired building contractor and owned Adventist Building Services. He built many altars to God worldwide. He was an avid woodworker and created beautiful wooden bowls from various kinds of wood. He will be greatly missed by all of his family.
He is survived by his mother, Agnes Geiger, Loveland, Co.; daughters and sons-in-law, Debi and Gary Chambers, Wildwood, Ga.; Donna and Calvin Padgett, Apison, Tn.; and Darla Geiger, Sanford, Fl.; seven grandchildren, Tina Bralley, Rocky Chambers, Luke Padgett, Dylan Padgett, Joey Baggett, Jessica Baggett, and Janeen Baggett; three great-grandchildren, River Chambers, Liliana Chambers, and Alexander Bralley; brothers, Frank Geiger, Loveland, Co.; and Gary Geiger, Linden, Tn.; uncle, Harold Brantley, Columbus, Oh.; and mother of his children, Tarrie Geiger, Chattanooga.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Collegedale Community Church.
